Terms of service
These terms apply to the use of robinmuthomi.com and to bookings for sessions listed on it, including AI in Legal Practice: The Working Lab. By booking a seat you accept them. The site and sessions are run by Robin Muthomi Mutiga, Advocate, trading as Robin Advisory Group (“we”, “us”), in partnership with Wakili 101.
1. Booking and payment
- A seat is booked when full payment is received and we confirm it on WhatsApp or email. Seats are allocated in the order payments are confirmed.
- Pay by Lipa na M-Pesa, Buy Goods Till 3469163, which is operated by our partner Wakili 101. Always use the till number shown on this site.
- Prices are in Kenya shillings, exclude VAT, and include the day’s materials, teas and lunch. Pay exactly KES 15,000 per seat to the till.
- If you pay after all 50 seats are taken, we refund that payment in full. If you pay twice by mistake, we refund the extra payment in full.
- Registration closes on Thursday 22 October 2026 at 11:59 PM.
2. Changes, transfers and refunds
- Transfer: you may pass your seat to a colleague at no charge. Send us their name and P.105 number by the day before the session.
- No refunds: fees are non-refundable once paid, including if you cannot attend. Your seat can still be transferred as above.
- If we change or cancel: if we move the session to another date, you may keep your seat for the new date or take a full refund. If we cancel, we refund in full. We are not responsible for travel or other costs you incur.
3. CPD
CPD accreditation is provided through Wakili 101, which records your point with the Law Society of Kenya. The session carries the number of LSK CPD points stated on its page. Points are recorded after the session for registered participants who attend the full day and whose P.105 number is supplied and correct. The award and recording of CPD points is ultimately a matter for the Law Society of Kenya.
4. On the day
- Bring a laptop and an AI account. We help you set one up the week before if you need it; any paid AI subscription is between you and its provider.
- Use non-confidential material only. Do not enter client-identifying or privileged information into any AI tool during the session. You remain responsible for your professional obligations of confidentiality.
- We may photograph the room for our records and to promote future sessions. Tick the box on the registration form, or tell us on the day, if you prefer not to appear.
5. What the session is, and is not
Sessions are training. Nothing taught, demonstrated or shared is legal advice to you or your clients. AI tools make mistakes; you are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it in your practice.
6. Materials
Session materials and templates remain our intellectual property. You may use and adapt them for your own work and inside your own firm. You may not resell, republish or use them to run training for others without our written permission. What you build on the day from your own work is yours.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a booking is limited to the fee you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law.
8. This website
We keep the information on this site accurate but may update session details. Where this site and a written confirmation differ, the confirmation applies. How we handle your data is set out in the privacy notice.
9. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions: robin@robinmuthomi.com or WhatsApp 0799 157 696.
